Swaddle blankets Wish List

This week it's all about "Swaddling blankets" (max budget £12.49). I thought it is more of an old- fashioned trend to swaddle baby, apparently not as there are lots of swaddling blankets online. Would you recommend swaddling and did you do it?

  1. There's a lovely selection here. Well picked. I use blankets, as the jury is still out for me on tight swaddling but I get that baby feels very secure #binkylinky

  2. I LOVE swaddling, and so did my babies! in fact I bought my step daughter a "baby wrapping" book when she had her baby in Feb. So glad it's coming back into fashion, babies hate hanging their limbs and love the security of swaddling - many might sleep better this way!

  3. I didn't use swaddling blankets but did use blankets to swaddle for a couple of weeks. It then got too hot and my little man preferred to have his arms free! #binkylinky

  11. We swaddled both of ours but were told that it isn't recommended now when we had my daughter. I think some babies love it and some don't - it just depends on what your baby likes!

  12. I didn't use specific swaddling blankets, but I did keep Lucas wrapped up nice and snug. Now he just kicks every blanket off, absolutely hates them!

  15. When my baby was born it is awfully awfully hot in my country so much as I want to use this I cant. He lives in sando (vest) in my country. But you have such lovely choices =) #binkylinky

  16. We used the gro swaddles. I also bought a summer infant swaddle but it didn't get used, although I can't quite remember why now.
When we were in hospital they asked if a student midwife could practice swaddling my baby, yet when we got home and I had her swaddled, my community midwife was all 'nooo don't swaddle a baby, they overheat and it hurts their hips'. You don't know what to do for the best at times! As it is I think we only swaddled her for about four weeks then went onto blankets, then just a sleeping bag x

  19. I swaddled my youngest and she was always very happy, but I'm not sure if that was because of the blanket or if it was her natural personality!

  20. These look a great idea. I didn't swaddle my children only because they used to kick the blankets off lol

  21. I tried to swaddle mine but they just like to kick and wriggle about. I know other babies that love to be swaddled though!

  23. When a baby born at first its needs a blanket. A special blanket is suitable for a baby. This post contains six blankest list. I think that Swaddle Me Cotton Knit Animal Print Small/Medium is best for everyone. Because it is cheap.
