  1. Really can't beat a Medela! I also had a nuby manual pump and it was terrible!

  2. I had a manual one, the tommee tippee one and for my needs it was fine! I had plans to express more often then i did (wanted to do one bottle a day so my husband could do a feed) but arthur didn't like the bottle so only did it occasionally and it worked fine! If i had ended up expressing more than i did i would have wanted an electric one though for sure!
Now, based on the experience I had, I would say unless you know you're going to exclusively pump i would wait to see how your baby responds to it before spending LOADS!

  5. I used to have a manual Avent one. I got on well with that. It is so hard to choose though as there are so many options! #BinkyLinky

  6. I used a hospital grade double medela pump in hospital and it was great, but when I came home I used a single manual avent pump which was just as good. Thanks for linking up to the #binkylinky

  7. I've used two Medela and one Avent so far and it's Avent all the way for me. I really don't understand the hype around Medela, but I liked the Avent manual one so much, I went out and bought the electric one :)

  10. Electric ones felt weird at the start but then I got used to it and there was no going back! Loved it!

  11. I hired the Medela Symphony hospital grade pump. At £45 a month it was pricey but we had difficulties with breastfeeding in the conventional sense, so I expressed using the pump until Little One was 6 months!! It worked brilliantly and made a horrible situation into a much easier one for me.
