This
weeks it's all about "Nursery". We
are not planning to have a cot just yet, as our Little L will be
sleeping in our room (when she moves to her own room that's where we
will need lots of furniture and other bits). We are also not planning
to have a changing unit, we have a quite wide chest of drawers which
will be used to store baby's clothes and to change our little one.
Please
note, I have picked only one items from each company as it's
impossible to fit all items I like into one post, but feel free to
browse their website for other options and colours.
As
always if you can think of anything else please let me know.

I used the bed nest (6), and with my first it was great as he was really unsettled during the night. It was a bit like co-sleeping without him in the bed, as the side comes down, so we could sleep holding hands. However my second is a good sleeper, so although I used it, I rarely had the side down, so something less expensive would have been fine. Of course the problem is you generally don't know how they will sleep prior to making your purchase! #binkylinky
ReplyDeleteThey are all pretty but i didnt get one as you will just use this for a short period of time. nicer tho buy those that grows with your kid =) #PoCoLo
ReplyDeleteoh i know i dont want anymore i think these 7 are enough but i still coo and aww at the baby things I find them soo gorgeous and lovely x
ReplyDeleteAaaw I remember the fun I had choosing cribs and moses baskets x x
ReplyDeleteOne thing I wish I had purchased is a twin moses basket, so that our twins could have slept together and then progressed to sharing a cot. I wonder if we had done this, if they would be better sleepers now with each other to comfort themselves. Thanks for linking up to the #binkylinky
ReplyDeleteOh some lovely items here...almost makes me want to have another!
ReplyDeleteAh it's so exciting shopping for a baby! Personally I would go for a crib over Moses basket, they'll last longer! We have a mothercare one that was £39.99 #binkylinky
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't bother with a Moses basket, just use the crib x
ReplyDeleteI didn't bother with a Moses basket for my eldest two but the twins were SO unsettled (gut problems) that we decided to go for it and top and tail the baskets in a cot bed cot. It made it more cosy. best thing we did, and since they didn't start gaining weight for 10-12 months they got over a year's use from them!
ReplyDeleteOh they are all so pretty - what some lovely ideas. x
ReplyDeleteI had a crib for Isaac and Eliza but didn't really get on with it so I reverted back to a moses basket with Seb - have you seen the Schnuggle?
ReplyDeleteThese all look very pretty. I just used a moses basket and then a cot with mine.
ReplyDeleteI love the coloured moses baskets! Mine would have to be purple of course!
ReplyDeletelove those cribs :) I have the moses basket still all three of mine slept in {and one of my nieces!}
ReplyDeleteI had a plain linen-covered moses basked on a stand when S was born... she only slept in it for a while before she ended up in my bed though!
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up with #WeekendBlogHop!
The Snuzpod is absolutely amazing, i would definitely recommend one especially if you're breastfeeding and/or cosleeping! xxx
ReplyDeleteGreat wishlist. I adored my moses basket when Maxwell was smaller. We kept it downstairs with us on its rocker in the daytime - important as I had a C section and I could not keep rushing upstairs. Thanks for sharing x
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of the Graco co-sleeper cot if I ever have a third
ReplyDeleteThose Moses baskets are so pretty! Thankfully I borrowed one rather than bought though, as Potato didn't like his. Same went for the crib really. He used it for a little while but wasn't a fan so ended up co-sleeping so I'm glad we got a nice 2nd hand one. I made a very cute changing mat to match the curtains in his room, to go on the top of the chest of drawers. He's still using it at 2, so no changing on the floor for me :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for co-hosting #BinkyLinky with me xx
I love Moses Basket number 5 with the rose print, that's really pretty. Knowing what I do now, I really wish we'd bought a co-sleeper instead of a Moses Basket. Then again, they're expensive and I'm not sure what the sizes are like? If they're a similar size to a basket I'd say they're probably not worth the price because at 9 weeks my little one is nearly too big for her basket already. x
ReplyDeleteWe used a wooden crib my mum still had from when I was a baby :) In fact, I think her mum used it for her as well. It's from the 1940's I think and I'm hoping my kids are going to want to use when/if they have kids of their own :)
ReplyDeleteI just got upset reading this as I'm was so sad when my little one grow out of his moses basket. He was only in it for a few months but was really handym was easy to move from room to room and also found it was more snug than a big cot. I would definitely recommend getting one :) xx
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, I love all of these! I wouldn't know which to choose!! Thank you for linking to PoCoLo :) x
ReplyDeleteI really like the look of the snuzpod. I think this is my fave item with your picks.
