Breastfeeding accessories Wish List

This Friday it's all about breastfeeding accessories, as you know from my previous Wish Lists I try to find the best options price wise, here is what I have found and think could be necessary as I'm planning to breastfeed. If I miss anything please do let me know!

Breast pads:

1. ASDA Little Angels Breast Pads- £1.00

2. Wilko Mum to Be Maternity Breast Pads 40 Pads- £1.50

3. Mothercare Washable Breast Pads- £4.99

Nipple cream:

Lansinoh HPA Lanolin Nipple Cream (40ml)- ToysRUs, Kiddicare, Mothercare £9.99

Nursing bra (I'm a fan of practical things hence only black bras):

1. Emma Jane Seam Free Maternity & Nursing Bra- More 4 Mums £11.00

2. Emma Jane Padded T-shirt Nursing Bra- More 4 Mums £15.00

Breastfeeding covers:

1. Palm & Pond Infant Breastfeeding Cover - Red Cherry Design- Daisy BabyShop £6.95 (variety of other designs)

2. Mamascarf Breast Feeding Scarf Black- Kiddicare £12.50

I didn't mention muslings, nursing pillows as I am planning to use what I have at home as I believe that towels and flannels can be used instead of muslings and normal pillow can be used as a breastfeeding pillow.

Disclaimer: I have a written consent from all brands mentioned to use above pictures.

  1. Lansinoh breastpads are the only ones I like, I've tried lots and these are ultra thin and not itchy like others.

Breastfeeding scarf by Snoob - usually £25 but today 20% off, are more expensive but much better as they stay in place while feeding. http://mummymemories2013.blogspot.co.uk/2014/05/happy-1st-birthday-snoob-xx.html x

  2. I bought Breast Pads thinking i would actually need them, but i never used a single one, so there were surplus... although when my nipples started bleeding i put in my bra a small square of fleece fabric coated in Lansinoh Lanolin cream and it was magic!!!... id say the cream is a must have and my number 1 top product, ive used it for alsorts :)... i have a breastfeeding top tutorial to save even more money: http://www.suggys.co.uk/Leanne/how-to-make-your-own-nursingbreastfeeding-top/ #PoCoLo

  4. I must admit I didn't breast feed and although it is the best thing for a child both of my boys wouldn't latch on properly and the stress of having both of them by c-section already making myself feel bad I just gave up i didn't want to put myself under any more so I turned to the bottle however I did use the lanolin and found it to be amazing x #binkylinky

  5. Handy especially the cover. I always have a scarf with me just so I can do my thing w/o exposing myself. Love these things! Helpful to Moms #pocolo

  8. Good wish list! Personally I'm not a fan of the scarves, nut I understand why people use them. Lansinoh is a must if you have cracked nipples definitely. Positioning is everything, and I had a whole stack of pillows to hand for feeding. I hope things go well with BF, and if they don't to start with they will get easier!

  9. I'm so hoping I can breastfeed Baby C, I've been given pads and have bought some Lansinoh. I'm going to babywear and have a woven wrap so thinking that'll do in place of a scarf/cover. Thanks for sharing at Weekend Blog Hop xx

  12. A brilliant list. I used to have reusuable breast pads which got washed in the machine - they were fantastic! I love those breastfeeding covers too - weren't around when Grace was small. Thank you for linking to PoCoLo :) x
