Review: Nuu Addition white and green 7 piece set

After I gave birth to L it took me a while to adjust to being a mum, not being able to do certain things or go out  purely because I wouldn't trust anyone,  to me I am the only person who knows what's right for L and what and how things should be done.  I may not be considering having a second child but I would love to see more newborns in our family and have been hinting to my sisters-in-law and our close family friends. Of course it is something out of my control and only others can decided when the time is right for them to have a baby, only imagine how happy I was to discover that not 1 but 2 of our close friends are having a baby!!
I was predicting genders, buying little gifts in advance and waiting in anticipation until the d-day comes!!
Few weeks ago (just in time for meeting little babies) I came across a Nuu Addition who kindly sent us 7 piece set packed with baby clothing essentials (£24.99).

"At Nuu Addition we supply classical and unique gift boxes for new born babies, full of all the helpful essentials and much more, any Mother would treasure".

What impressed me the most (apart form the gift set itself) is how carefully the product was packed and how quick it was delivered (within 2 days). The package came in a see through bag with the gift set wrapped in a brown paper and secured with twine. Upon opening the package I have noticed that the baby gift set was already packed in a cute gift bag. All these little touches are so important as it shows how Nuu Addition appreciate their products and customers!
The set consists of:
  • Bodysuit with buttons and Elephant print
  • Baby hat with Elephant print
  • Short Sleeve Bodysuit with stars print
  • Bib with Elephant print
  • Pair of White Soft Socks (packed in a net bag)
  • White baby blanket with a green Elephant embroidered in the corner (100% cotton )
  • Cute green Elephant Toy
  • New Baby mini card
This set is available in 2 sizes: 0-3 months, 3-6 months and can make such a great New Baby present, Going Home outfit or even a very thoughtful Baby Shower gift! The quality and fabric (100% cotton) are just perfect for newborn's gentle skin. I just can't wait to see little bubba in Nuu Addition clothes!
All products at Nuu Addition are very well thought through, be it a baby clothing gift set (gender specific or neutral) or a baby box with anything a new parent and baby needs!

What Little L's wore- Christmas feature

We had a very rough few days prior to Christmas celebrations but I think we managed to pull it off.

Here is my gorgeous daughter in her cute dress from TK Maxx! Only after we took the dress off I saw that cute little panties were attached to the skirt, as you do!

Happy New Year, everyone!

Review: baby girl Zippy suit

When L was tiny I had a few "awkward moments" when I had too many poppers left undone, eventually I have realised that half way through you need to do the poppers from the bottom. When I saw Zippy suits with a zip instead of poppers I thought straightaway that these are ideal hassle free sleepsuits!

Zippy Suits were designed after spending many frustrating moments trying to do up matching pairs of poppers when changing very wriggly or crying babies. We simply thought there had to be an easier way….Zippy Suits with their single zip fastening were the solution!

I have opted for a girly flamingo sleepsuit for 6-12 months (£15). I must say that it looks much better in real life than on the picture.
When we received the suit L was 9 months and as she is a little bit smaller than average baby the suit was a little bit big for her, but 2 months down the line it fits perfectly!
The suit itself is stretchy so no matter how big your baby is s/he will definitely fit in the Zippy cotton sleepsuit and will have room to grow. The elasticated ankle will keep your baby's feet snuggled in it's feet section, it didn't "work" for us at first, which I thought could be due to the width of the ankle area itself, would be great if it can be adjusted! The anti-slip/grippy dotty soles are there to make sure your baby has a grip when trying to make first steps or whilst standing. A zip guard protects the baby’s skin and a cover stops babies playing with the fastened zip pull. To top it off you can buy matching beanie hat and a bandana bib which can make a great set!
Zippy suits are available in 3 colours for babies aged 0 to 18 months.
After few washings and tumble drying I can confirm that Zippy suits colours do not fade and bright colours makes it a perfect, practical sleepsuit for me as you won't be able to see any stains as sometimes I struggle to get rid off stains on sleepsuits wih light colours.

Zip idea is just brilliant and I think is perfect for smaller babies who have poonamies all day long, the process of undressing is so much easier! Having said that those who prefer to undo poppers at the bottom of the outfit might question the zip idea as it simply may not work for them, but nonetheless it's a great, useful product!

Little L's favourite outfit- Next

Another cute little outfit from Next. I've seen lots of other mums buying cute, funky leggings for they boys and girl but never thought about purchasing one myself. But when I saw the picture with the set above I fell in love. It looks incredibly cute and the leggings make the look trendy and funky!

The top costs only £6 and leggings come in a set of 2 (pink ones from my previous outfit post) £6.

Little L's favourite outfit- Next

When I saw this top online I wasn't sure if I like it, but it was worth taking a punt in the end. The cute pink "3D" bunny is so soft and fluffy and is made of yarn loops. The material itself is quite thick and after the washing looks like new.
And these plain pink leggings finish off the look nicely. Both top and leggings cost £6 each, which is a great price for Next.

Yay or nay?

Little L's favourite outfit- Tu at Sainsbury's

This outfit I bought today for 2 reasons it was reduced from £8 to £4 and it looks extremely cute!

As you can see it is too big for L, even though it's 6-9 months (68-74cm, 100% cotton).
I like settle pink and cream colour. I think it could be a great outfit for every day and going out?

Would you buy it?!

What Little L wore- Bluezoo baby

When I was pregnant with L I have asked our relatives to buy baby clothes for baby shower rather than something for me. It saved us from buying any clothes for 6 months!

This dress set is one of the outfits my daughter's godmother bought for her. The set i for 3-6 months (height 68 cm, weight 8 kgs).

The top itself has very cute patches on both elbows:

What do you think yay or nay?)
