Celebrating Valentine's with L.O.L Surprise!

Valentine's Day to me has always been about spending quality time with your loved one, receiving and giving presents if you wish to do so. But this year with the little help from the social media I have learned that Valentine's could also be a day for BFFs aka Galentine's Day!

So as my little love is at the age of forming friendships generous friends from L.O.L Surprise! sent us a bundle of goodies including couple of L.O.L. Surprise! themed cards for BFFs and few doll surprises to share with L's friends and an exclusive doll from Confetti Pop series (£11)!
I suppose L didn't give much thought why we are writing cards to her friends, but liked seeing something new with her favourite characters on and was ready to keep all L.O.L. Surprise! dolls for herself.
The wait was worth it I must say Confetti Pop series is an incredibly cute and fun addition to the "family" and I am sure will bring lots of happiness for other little boys and girls.

The principle of unwrapping 7 layers of surprise remained the same with few add ons, firstly the ball had little sections which you need to flick to open and twist to get to another set of sections, the handle is made in the shape of a zip with a little L.O.L. Surprise! charm, once all sections were opened L needed to pull a string to see confetti and the doll itself popping out of the ball!
L was excited and carried on playing with the pop mechanism for hours and days!
L.O.L. Surprise! don't seaze to amaze us! Thank you for such lovely treats!

Festive fun with the new range from L.O.L. Surprise

This Christmas L has requested few presents from Santa and even though she received everything she requested, some of these toys have been neglected ever since apart from her favourite collectible L.O.L. Surprise and a new addition to her collection L.O.L. Surprise! Pets.
L has a massive obsession with cats so we were secretly hoping that the surprise pet would be a cat!

The new collectible series comes with an awesome accessory addition- litter tray with kinetic sand!
L.O.L. Surprise! Pets have 7 surprise layers, each layer reveals: a clue, stickers for collector's poster, accessories and of course the toy itself, with this new range the toy also comes with a litter tray with sand and a scooper which will help you to reveal yet another surprise.

Receiving L.O.L. Surprise! Pets and L.O.L. Surprise dolls was a highlight of L's Christmas day (mine too to be honest). I was a little reluctant at first as wasn't sure a new series can beat gorgeously cute L.O.L. Surprise dolls and even collector's leaflet doesn't do it's justice- L.O.L. Surprise! Pets are adorable!
Just like the original series pets are robust enough to last, they may change the colour, do a wee or spit the water out as well as move their paws. L.O.L. Surprise! Pets range consists of cats, puppies, rabbits and hamsters. The litter tray which comes with a lid and a scoop can be used as a sand mould creating a cute pattern on a sand which can be played with on its own or with a pet. From what I have gathered the colour of the sand and it's accessories is dependent on the type of the pet.
If you are not very familiar with magic aka kinetic sand- it has similar texture to normal sand but sand grains easily stick to each other which allows to create different shapes and figures.

And here is a big reveal: if you dig deep you can find pet's shoes hidden in the sand-what an adventure for a L.O.L. Surprise obsessed child!

As always L.O.L. Surprise! Pets are suitable from the age of 3 and available at major toy stores (Smyths, Entertainer, Argos etc.) for £9.99.

L.O.L. Surprise! Easter Hunt

I remember this time last year I was bookmarking ideas for Easter Egg Hunt and couldn't wait until L would be old enough to understand and get involved.

Before I even started planning our entertainment programme for this Easter lovely people representing L.O.L. Surprise have sent us a bundle of goodies including: L.O.L. Surprise Diva Bow, Secret Message, Jokes, Colouring In Sheet, Postcard, Sweets & a L.O.L. Surprise (£7.99 available from major toy stores).
For those who don't know L.O.L. Surprise is different take on surprise eggs, which my darling daughter loves to watch on Youtube.
Main surprise (cute, collectible doll) wrapped in 7 layers of "wrapping paper" with different clues and mini-accessories including water bottle, stickers, shoes, outfit, accessory. Round, plastic ball with the handle is a girly alternative to usual egg-shaped "shell", both sides of which can be used as a lounge and a bath for little doll.
So on early Sunday morning I have prepared bunting in the garden, hidden few extra eggs with Easter themed characters drawn on them and with few eggs with little surprises inside to make it more fun, I have attached L.O.L Surprise colouring sheet on our rotary airer to give L a clue what the big surprise could be about.

I have managed to forget where some of the eggs were hidden but it was fun to see L getting excited when she would spot an egg, or ask what the next colour of the egg would be.

When L eventually found L.O.L Surprise ball all we could hear was "Wow" whilst she was unwrapping layer after layer.
The collectible doll looks super cute, has a squishy face with little holes in her eyes, mouth and at the bottom for some water games and most importantly is a super-hero character- L's favourite type of role play! We are yet to try and see how little doll cries, spits the drink, wees and changes colour in the cold water as L would only want to play with it in the sand.
