Since L was about 18 months I started to encourage her to learn numbers in a fun way, I would hold her with one arm and with other prepare her breakfast whilst counting how many spoons of porridge I put in her bowl. It seems to do the trick, she would repeat the words or noises how I call it and next time would shout out the one she remembers. I cannot wait until she can write the numbers as I have some more fun activities for her.
