Review: Easter themed bouquet of flowers from Prestige Flowers

I just love when the house is filled with a scent of flowers and with Easter holiday fast approaching it makes me feel like spring is just around the corner!
Prestige Flowers were kind enough to send us an Easter themed bouquet of flowers which is reduced to £19.99 at the moment and comes with free flower feed and a mini box of British Chocolate Truffles (these are delicious!).
Flowers arrived with the courier packed in the Prestige Flowers branded box. Upon opening the box we saw a neatly packed bouquet of flowers, a cute teddy (can be purchased additionally for £5.99) with Prestige Flowers embroidered on one of the legs, a vase (can be purchased additionally for £5.99), truffles, flower care guide booklet and lastly a card from Prestige Flowers team (you can personalise your own message).
Bouquet arrived in a perfect condition and well packed with a water pouch to keep them healthy.

"A traditional and exciting arrangement with Spring tulips, pink roses and gypsophilia. The theme is completed with the nestling of an Easter chick ".
L asked to "look after" Eater chick which of course I didn't mind, once flowers were in the vase it was easier to take the stick with a chick on out. It looks really cute and if last us long enough can be used for future Easter themed arts and crafts activities.
I opted to keep flowers in it's original packaging- white cellophane wrapping paper but you can easily arrange them in a vase.

It's been almost a week since we have received our lovely bouquet of flowers and they still look as good as new! Don't think you can go wrong with Prestige Flowers!

Did you know you can order flowers to be delivered in almost any part of the world too?!

Review: The Jungle Book Musical by Immersion Theatre

Few weeks ago we were invited to see  a brand new musical adaptation of family favourite- 'THE JUNGLE BOOK' ( Immersion Theatre production) at the Palace Theatre in Redditch.

"You are invited to join Mowgli and his friends, Baloo the bear and Bagheera the panther, on a madcap jungle adventure as they meet and attempt to outwit a slithering snake, some cheeky monkeys, and the fierce tiger, Shere Khan!"

As we sat down to see the show I was pleasantly surprised to see a very cosy venue with colourful decorations on the stage. With few minutes to spare before the show L and I spoke about the characters from the Jungle Book to refresh her memory and prepare for what was about to commence. The moment the show started and Baloo the bear appeared with his 'unbearable' jokes and enthusiastic personality I knew the show would be a success

The show follows the familiar story line from the book with few twists to suit versatile audience. There is a lot of dancing, adult jokes and singing involved along with some audience interactions which was quite fun! I found myself smiling throughout the show as you can see how much effort and preparations goes in the show!

This "Jungle Book" adaptation will blow your mind with it's "pantomime" alike script, upbeat songs, amazing actors' transformations (from a suede looking Bagheera suit jacket to tall elephants, from caring Raksha- mother wolf to Kaa with a northern accent, oh watch out for King Louie- it will blow your mind!).

During the break I had a quick chat with the lady who sat next to us, she booked tickets for herself and a friend, she thoroughly enjoyed the musical which just shows that the production is suitable for all ages!

At the end of the show we were invited to the foyer where we could meet Mowgli herself (yes you read that right), Shere Khan and Baloo and pose for a picture with them. A special credit to Mowgli (Rachael Stratton) as she managed to quickly calm little L as someone jumped the queue, thank you, Mowgli!

The show is around 1hr 30 min including interval which seems to be a sufficient amount of time for pre-schooler or an adult and ticket prices start from £12.

Review: Eyejusters- The Adjustable Reading Glasses and voucher code

Let me start this review with a simple question, how many people have issues with their eyesight (specifically reading)? 6/10 people in the world wear glasses/contact lenses, you likely will know someone in your family or extended family who need glasses.
The Eyejusters is a revolutionary pair of glasses, that allow the wearer to adjust the lens strength from +0.50 to +4.00D (£69 or £79 depending on the design). This is great if your eyes are becoming weaker, which unfortunately happens as we get older.
There are adjustable knobs on the side of the lens which allow the wearer to re-adjust the lens for perfect reading vision.

They call this the 'SlideLens', which simply means the reading lens slides across the main part of the glasses. Simply turn the dial until you reach the best reading focus, once correct 'set and forget'.

Now I know what you are thinking, the frame must be big and not very trendy. Wrong! The frame is modern the small dials are hidden away within the frame and the lens looks almost invisible (once positioned correctly).
There are also several other frames (unisex) to chose from on the Eyejusters website, so you can pick a style you like.

Why would you consider Eyejusters? Well firstly they could save you money, the amount you spend purchasing the set reading glasses from a local shop will cost a few quid over time, purchase one pair or Eyejusters and adjust the dials accordingly to have a permanent pair of reading glasses.

Be modern and have the latest revolutionary pair of glasses!

So whether you need your reading glasses for use on the computer, working, reading or simply a part- time hobby, the Eyejusters can be the perfect glasses for you!

I would genuinely recommend this pair of glasses to anyone seeking a new pair of reading glasses or as a great thoughtful gift for Mother's Day as it is simply an all in one pair!

As promised here is 10% discount code to be valid from today until 19 March: MLL0218
