Visible
changes in my body: still
no weight gain, and my smallish bump is there, but others still can't see it :-(
Other:
today I have an appointment with cardiologist, everything seems
ok so far except from my blood pressure jumping a bit, so hopefully
will see him next in 6 or 12 months.
How
do I feel: started
to have horrible pains in my bum area (only on one side)- when I'm
sitting down, standing up, trying to move my leg when sitting down
and sometimes when walking.
Cravings:
still none
Fitness:
The same routine- walking every day for max. 25 minutes and
swimming once a week
Baby:
At
27weeks
her
nostrils have opened and her lungs are now capable of breathing. Her
central nervous system can now control her breathing too. This week, baby weighs almost 2 pounds (about
the size of a head of cauliflower)
and is about 14 1/2 inches long with her legs extended.
Any
recommendations what to do with my pain?
Ah congratulations. I'm a couple of weeks behind you with definite weight gain and bump. But it is no. 3. Your bump will come, don't worry about that and just enjoy being lithe while you can. I wrote a fictional book based on my first pregnancy if that is of any help to you - Up the Duff without a Paddle (http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00BOWUJ1S). Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy x
ReplyDeleteeeek- I absolutely loved this time. Re the pain; have you tried pregnancy yoga? It was fab for me.

Aww bless you sounds a bit like sciatica in your bum, or something like that! Funny how everyone reacts so differently to pregnancy. Enjoy the no weight gain and small bump while you can, but I know how frustrating that is when you want it to be visible! #mmwbh
ReplyDeleteCongrats again and thank you for linking up to Share With Me I love reading your weekly updated on your pregnancy. I really wish I had been blogging when I was pregnant with both of mine. I now just have to keep writing flashback stories. I just wrote of Buba's birth today, I think it's good to share good birth stories to help not scare the pregnant ones off. lol I only ever heard bad ones. Is the pain sciatica? You could be standing too long or sitting too long in one go, if its more in your pelvis than bum be careful you aren't doing a lot of stairs and giving yourself SPD. Hope it goes away soon. #sharewithme
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your pregnancy! Sorry to hear about your sciatica pains, I know how much that can hurt, hope it feels better soon :) #sharewithme
ReplyDeleteOh wow 27weeks... I love getting to that point :). in my last pregnancy I had both sciatica and SPD :( only thing I can suggest is use lots of cushions to prop yourself up and hot water bottle :) x
ReplyDeleteI had sciatica too, it hurt more when i'd been sitting down too long so keep getting up and walking it off, it helps and one of those lavender heat bags on your bum helped a little too. My tot is now 2 and I still get it occasionally when i'm walking!
ReplyDeleteThe pain sounds like sciatica to me; I would mention it to your midwife. I suffered mildly in all three of my pregnancies and its not nice!
ReplyDeleteTake care :)

Aww congratulations. I love reading preganancy updates. Try not to be too sad about others not being able to see your bump, I bet in no time it will be so blooming fabulous that you won't be able to see your feet!!
