Little L is 11 months

I can't believe that in less than a month L will be 1!! 

Development/milestones/character: L is quite a character! She could be cuddly and smiley one second and then changes to a little active munchkin, by active I mean she has enormous amount of energy! She wants to be picked up quite often or just won't let go of me or my leg. Recently I have noticed that she will interrupt my telephone conversations and will start crying until I stop chatting on a phone. I have absolutely no problem with her being clingy if that's what she wants then so be it. I do leave her in her playroom when I need to do things but she won't last long on her own and will play longer if I'm there.

Last weekend I have witnessed L making her first 3 steps! I wasn't holding her just securing with my arm at the front and she made 3 steps! 

Apart from being a little energiser bunny, L is ticklish on her chest which is so cute! She started to wave good bye and is interested in ribbons, zips, boxes, sticks more than her own toys and loves cartoons and dancing!

Sleep: it's always a roller coaster for us. For the past 2 weeks it changed from very good to not so good. As she has a cold for few weeks now she won't soothe herself to sleep like she used to and will nap for no more than 30 minutes if in cot and then will cry and need soothing. We have to tiptoe when leaving the room otherwise she will wake up. Just when I thought that L is ready to move to the nursery everything went downhill. For the past couple of days L won't nap in the morning, she will literally nod off for a minute and then happy and awake as if nothing happened! I'm not sure yet if it's a new routine change and will have to monitor it for the next few weeks.

Clothing: L is still wearing 6-9 months outfits (depending on a brand) and fits in some 9-12 months outfits but generally they are too long

Feeding: L is nursing first thing in the morning, then around 11-12, then around 3 and last time before bed time.

Teeth: L still has 8 teeth and seems like we have a little break from teething, phew (touch wood)!

If you purchase the set items separately it will cost you more, so it is better to have everything in one. The packaging is excellently presented and I like the handle attachment which means that you can pack other pieces safely in the box and take it with you if something needs putting up for example at grandparents house.

I'm yet to work out if we are going to use them or not as in the house where we live now door knobs are quite high and L won't be able to reach at least until she is 3-4 years old. But I can see why they are invented, as all doors are different.

The set comes with 4 corner cushions, double sided adhesive tape.

Before applying corner cushions you need to wash them in the soapy water, dry well and to clean off any dirt, wax, polish from furniture corners. Slowly peel off the backing side of the adhesive tape and apply to all 3 sides inside the corner cushion and press firmly onto furniture corner.

I have slightly struggled with peeling off the adhesive tape, as I'm not sure I followed the instructions correctly as it was sticking to my fingers and to itself.

We didn't put the latch yet as we are planning to change the room lay out so it's more comfortable for us and safe for L, the moment I see which draw L tries to open I will attach the latch as it seems to be quite easy and quick to do.

Review: Brainwavz S1 earphones

“Because you know I'm all about the base..” and that is the case with the Brainwavz S1 earphones (£35.58 or 54.50 USD on Amazon!

I jumped at the opportunity to review the new Brainwavz earphones, as earphones in our house do not tend to last very long (mainly due to the poor build quality).                                                                                                                                                             

 The first thing that stands out, is the packaging. The box looks very modern & cool, the internal (book-page) clear plastic window shows the contents. The Brainwavz brand is exceptionally sleek and really stands out, making you feel confident that the contents are of quality.
                             
The contents consist of a robust earphone case, 6 pairs of varied silicone foam ear tips (depending on your preference), 1 pair of Bi and 1 pair Tri-flange tips and an aeroplane adapter (no more average aeroplane headphones!).                           

One thing to point out, the headphones are wired so no fancy way of connecting (which can affect the sound quality and lag). The tangle free flat cord allows for easy flow to your ears.

                                        
The earphones (as mentioned above) come with different ear bud foam connectors, which allow you to pick the ideal one for your ear and comfort. The earphones are ‘over the ear’ which confirm the modern twist on the earphones..
                                         
The buds are easy to change on the earphone, gently remove the current ear bud and push the new bud onto the bud holder.. simple but clever!

The sound is very good which allows you to have clear and crisp sounds to your ears. The earphones are also noise isolating, which means you can have your alone time enjoying the music you love (in your own little world).

Simply put these earphones are up there with the best on offer.. they are reasonably priced and offer modern, comfort and excellent sound quality.

All in all, the Brainwavz S1 earphones are superbly packaged and the accessories included are the icing on the top. The earphones are truly exceptionally and I highly recommend anyone currently looking for a set of earphones that a comfy and of good quality & sound, to consider the S1's.
